Research
EURACAN members are actively involved in knowledge production and sharing and regularly publish articles and scientific papers.
Harmonisation of European procedures
To facilitate European collaboration in research, EURACAN worked on harmonising national procedures and administrative documents. This set of documents is freely available across the Network and aims at easing international processes and fostering the launch of studies across the EU, involving cancer care institutions and other relevant stakeholders.
EORTC-SPECTA Arcagen study
Arcagen – EORTC Research Project 1843 – is a collaborative project with EURACAN and Roche. It recruited around 1 000 patients with rare cancer, to gain understanding of the molecular landscape of the ten rare cancer groups. A free molecular report (FMI NGS panel) is generated and shared with the clinician, for all eligible patients, within 4 weeks.
TRacKING
TRacKING is a European registry aiming at collecting data from adult cancer patients harboring actionable fusions, to improve their management. While the number of patients to be included is not limited, a minimum of a hundred patient is envisioned. Priority is given to EURACAN centers, and off-grid centers can be opened upon request.
