Intellectual property rights

The content and texts, which include press releases, videos, images and animations that appear or are available on the site, are protected by intellectual property rights and are the exclusive property of EURACAN, unless otherwise mentioned. Who we are

The European Reference Network on Rare solid Adult Cancers, EURACAN, is one of the 24 European Reference Networks (ERNs) approved by the ERN Board of Member States. EURACAN is coordinated by the Centre Léon Bérard, France.

Which kind of information is collected and for which purposes?

EURACAN automatically collects information about your computer hardware and software, as your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring Website addresses. This information is used by EURACAN for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service,and to provide general statistics regarding use of the EURACAN Website.

On the other hand, EURACAN may collect personally identifiable information (as name, telephone, e-mail…) for some specific purposes described below. The Centre Léon Bérard is responsible of the file storing this information The user may exercise the rights of access, rectification, cancellation oropposition by written request to the following e-mail address: contact@euracan.eu

Processing of such data takes place at the Centre Léon Bérard in agreement with the General Data Protection Regulation, and with relevant national legislation.

Pursuant to the provisions of personal data protection regulations, it is informed that the personal data provided by the user will be processed only in connection with the purposes for which in each case they were provided.

EURACAN inventory of members and experts

As starting point for the mapping of clinical care services available at EU level for Rare adult solid cancers, an inventory of EURACAN members profiles was created including their area/s of expertise, diseases covered and numbers of patients involved, as well as their age range, and facilities for delivery of health provision covering both diagnosis and clinical care.

The inventory of EURACAN members and experts is based on the implementation of members, healthcare providers, departments and expert profiles, gathering the essential information for a) identifying gaps on services and expertise on the different fields across Europe and b) showing publicly useful information for patients and health professionals through the website.

E-services

EURACAN has a contact form, which activates your email software and allows you to send a comment or question to a general email address. When you send such a message, your personal data is collected only to the extent necessary to reply. If the team responsible for the mailbox is unable to answer your question, or your question has regards to another party, it might forward your email to another service within the Network.

If you have any questions about the processing of your email and related personal data, do not hesitate to include them in your message.

The collected personal data and all information related to the above mentioned consultation is stored on the email server of the EURACAN Coordinating office and potentially those who have been concerned in the correspondence in order to respond to your comment.

Newsletter

The EURACAN Newsletter aims to keep all the interested persons in the field of rare adult solid cancers updated with the latest news at the national or European level and main activities and results achieved by the network.

The EURACAN newsletter acts in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, offering the possibility to unsubscribe at any time through the unsubscribe button located in our newsletter.

Webinars

EURACAN webinars program aims to facilitate the transfer of knowledge and expertise health professionals and patients to learn highly specialized knowledge without the need to travel and whenever they wish.

Webinars sessions will be recorded and made them publicly available through EURACAN website and social media channels. Accordingly, by registering to the session the attendants understand and agree that the images shared and voices can be recorded and published at EURACAN website and/or social media channels
