In order to share a case or join a meeting you have to sign in to the CPMS. In the platform, there are multiple roles: if you are a clinician member of EURACAN you can sign in as “clinician”, if you are clinician but not a member of EURACAN you can sign in as “guest”. Personal assistants can also sign in and have access to the platform.
European multidisciplinary tumour boards
Complex medical cases often require expert discussion to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective treatment. To facilitate this exchange, EURACAN regularly organises multidisciplinary tumour boards; healthcare providers can solicit second opinions from EURACAN members regarding specific cases, through a dedicated platform: the Clinical Patient Management System (CPMS).
The Commission established the CPMS, a secure platform to allow healthcare professionals across the EU and Ukraine to collaborate more effectively on rare medical cases. The CPMS is accessible via a web-based and mobile app, enabling experts to share and discuss intricate cases easily.
This invaluable service is provided free of charge by the European Commission. Additionally, healthcare providers in Ukraine can seek guidance on rare and complex cases from EURACAN experts through CPMS. To initiate this process, they must first contact the Ukrainian Rare Disease Hub (UA Hub), which will assess the medical validity of the request before it can be submitted to CPMS.
